An inherently strong and durable fencing that’s aesthetically pleasing in design. Hollow Vertical Bar fencing utilises hollow section infill bars, as opposed to the solid bar infills used in standard vertical bar. The use of the hollow sections makes this a slightly less expensive option than standard vertical bar, however, the system is less versatile, radius sections are not possible and there is no choice of finial finishes. You get what you see!
Hollow Vertical Bar is available in heights:-
800mm / 1.0m / 1.25m / 1.5m / 1.8m / 2.0m / 2.4m / 2.5m
Generally construction comprises:-
Posts: 60 x 60mm steel hollow section posts or 102 x 44mm rsj posts at 2.5 - 2.8m centres
Rails: Two or three flat section, channel section or rectangular section horizontal rails fixed using permacone type bolts and nuts with angle cleats or anti-tamper brackets.
Infills: 25mm circular hollow section or 25 x 25mm square hollow section (diamond to view), at 125mm centres with square cut or angle cut tops.
Angle cut tops are not suitable on heights below 1.8m. Where high security is required and the finished fence height is to be 1.8m or over, there is the option of the serrated top edge. This makes getting a handhold on the top very difficult. In this style the vertical infills do not oversail the bottom rail.
Gates to match the fencing are available as electrically of manually operated swing, sliding and cantilever. Singles up to 12m and doubles up to 24m - depending on size and style.
The fencing comes in a galvanised finish, but can be supplied galvanised and powder coated in most RAL colours.
